How To Clean Stainless Steel Appliances with a Easy Homemade Stainless Steel Cleaner

What You Need

Vinegar (put it in a spray bottle works best)
Paper towels or a very soft cloth or microfiber cloth
Mineral Oil (or other oil of your choice— olive oil works great)

Instructions

1 – Get your supplies together and determine the direction of the grain. The grain is the way the stainless steel lines flow. Look very carefully. It will be running horizontally or vertically. To clean your stainless steel, rub in the direction of the grain.

2 – Do a quick clean of your appliance with vinegar. Spray your appliance liberally with vinegar. Using either a paper towel or a very soft cloth wipe off the vinegar in the direction of the grain. This should remove the initial debris and start to shine it up.

3 – Lastly use oil to make it shine. Dip your soft cloth into the oil. You don’t need much as you can always use more. Polish your appliance with the oiled-up cloth in the direction of the grain.
